The Founder of Salad Planet saw an opportunity in Valencia to establish its innovative business, a place with 50 ingredients to choose from
Lisbon inspired Antoine Blondiaux to start his entrepreneurial journey and make his dreams come true in Valencia: a healthy, sustainably and inclusive restaurant where all kind of eaters and palates could be satisfied. The business was launched in the financial district, right in the center of city. Antoine and his team offer a fresher and healthier alternative to the traditional lunchtime menu.
What’s new about this restaurant? Salad Planet offers DIY salads! Antoine brings you the possibility of making your own salad or wrap with a selection of ingredients amongst 50 different ones so that every day you can eat a healthy and varied meal. The technique is both simple and effective: you choose your base ingredients, your premiums and your sauce and voilà, a different healthy combination every day.
According to its founder, the key to success is the combination of a great product with a well-studied digital marketing strategy. “In this type of business, which is quite new and trendy, counting with the right digital marketing tools is essential, especially a professional website. We use it as a business card, as our digital menu and to show our values”, says Antoine.
The pandemic has caused economic distress and a new business paradigm. Digital tools are a magic potion for the hospitality industry and businesses like Salad Planet, who has gone digital right before the arrival of the pandemic. “Thanks to our website, you can book online a table in our restaurant so you don’t have to queue and at the same time we can manage more efficiently the space. Additionally, for those who prefer to stay at home, they can order food delivery in a couple of clicks“, adds Antoine.
